Now that I’m moving into my own space, where I have more control over things like air quality and client overlap, I’m going to be updating my COVID policies.
Moving forward, masking will be optional for clients. However, I will still be wearing masks during sessions. You are of course welcome to wear one too if you’d prefer, but you don’t need to.
I feel confident doing this because I have an air purification setup that can filter the air in the studio space every 15 minutes, and my sessions are always 30 minutes apart. I will also continue to use high-quality masks for myself.
I’m optimistic that this setup will be both safe and comfortable, and I’m looking forward to seeing you all in the new space!
The treatment room is located down a fairly steep flight of 10 steps with a railing on one side. The stairs have non-slip treads.
Since this space isn’t accessible to everyone, I will be offering mobile massage services for clients with mobility constraints. If stairs or lack of supports are a barrier to you, we can set up a session in your own home or another accessible location as long as it’s within the South Minneapolis area. I’ve got a variety of mobile equipment so don’t be afraid to reach out, we can make it work! Please call or text so we can discuss your needs before booking a session.
There are animals living in the home (two cats and a dog), but they are kept out of the studio space.
I can arrange for a low-scent environment, but not a no-scent one. I do use scented products in the house.
The studio space is located in a dry, dehumidified basement in an older home.
I am located near a busy street and there is frequent car noise (though it is a lot quieter than Lake Street!)
